Back in the Saddle Again!

Grab Your Reins and Hold On Tight,
'Cuz We're Gonna Put a Smile on Your Face.

November is here…where did all the other months go? We have some changes going on here if you have not heard. First, John has accepted a full-time position with “Custom Shop” in Hamilton and he absolutely loves it. I miss him, the orders he placed, and especially the newsletter he would make sure got put out! He is going to continue entering new merchandise in our POS, managing the website, and processing web orders. He will also be assisting with the newsletter. Charlie Quilts has volunteered her writing skills to help me keep up better with the Newsletters! Welcome Charlie and thank you John.

Must be honest, I was thrilled when Claudia asked if I would be interested in writing for the newsletter. Hope you enjoy my ponderings. When my husband and I started dating seriously and talked of marriage we made a deal I would not mention his golf equipment and he would not mention my fabric. This was years before I worked the floor at Patchwork Quilts and you can only imagine how fast it grew in those years. But really, have you ever walked into this shop and seen a stack of still packed wrapped bolts on the counter and just gazed upon them? Or wondered in delight what was in that big box UPS just brought in? We are all just itching to know!! And when you do get your hands on it, there is an "oooh" and an "aaah" of joy and happiness all because we have such a lovely shop here in the Bitterroot where we can pet fabric, talk quilting, get advice, and enjoy a happy place! By Charlie Quilts.

We still have seats available for Lynda Rygmyr’s MINI CAROLINA LILY CLASS. Lynda will teach you new techniques for quick cutting and machine piecing that make this traditional pattern easy as pie. There are no 'Y' seams either! Fast flying geese and migrating geese are a cinch using Studio 180 techniques and Lynda’s instructions. Lynda is a hoot, so you will have a lot of fun in this class too! Sign up on our website or at our shop so you don’t miss out on this great class.

PJ Party got a new date (1st Fridays) and a new name (Finish Up Fridays)! Dinner is at 6:00pm and still $7.00.The fun starts when the shop closes. A simply delicious dinner is served – you bring your projects and finish them with all of us while you gab the night away. We always have a great time! Don't forget your supplies.

I am planning some really cool events for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, so stay tuned for details.

Thank you for your patience with our newsletters, but we are Back in the Saddle Again and on a schedule now.

Sincerely,

Claudia Williams
